ABOUT ABOUT

Georgia, a two-act play looks at the very obscure topic of rape in relationships. It does so through the various perspectives of those involved, including through the vulnerability of the title character, her immigrant mother, best friend and the young man at the heart of the issue.  Georgia masterfully maneuvers through love after rape, breaking down a taboo subject through humor and an honest openness.  While pulling the sheets back for an open dialogue, Georgia investigates the windows of good, evil and the sometimes blurry lines in between.
